First, I wanted to share a way cool retro typewriter I picked up recently. It's a Remington Easy-Riter and is a beautiful aqua blue. It was also pristine! I would have loved to have kept it, but as I knew space is limited right now and that these are pretty good sellers, I decided to share it with someone else. It took a couple weeks, but I sold it in my Etsy store for $78. I can at least enjoy the photos! (and pay a bill)
Click here or on the picture to the right for a wonderful guide to finding and selling vintage items. Thrift Store Goldmines is full of vintage items found at thrift stores or yard sales that are resellable. It's given me quite a few tips! I would now add vintage typewriters to the list! Especially in yummy colors!
I actually bought this gorgeous, falling apart 1901 Natural History book for young people on eBay itself. And the reason I bought it was for the amazing color plates inside.
Here's a few...aren't those animals lovely? These would be great framed or incorporated into artwork. (1901...part of the public domain now)
These will be going into my Etsy shop as well soon. Although, I may keep 1 or 2 for son's room.
